One on One Support & Guidance
Mental health is more than just how you feel. Mental health is how you live. That’s why we strive to understand you as a "whole person," focusing not only on your mental health, but on your emotional, social, spiritual and physical well-being. We're committed to helping you improve your quality of life by offering individual counseling services specifically tailored for your individual needs.
With all of our counseling services, you have the option of integrating Christian spirituality into the therapeutic process. We leave the decision of how much or how little spirituality plays into our work together completely up to you. We bear a deep respect for the diverse values and beliefs of all individuals. Social & Relationship Problems
Whether it's your spouse, family member, friend or coworker, healthy relationships can be a source of vitality and purpose. On the other hand, unhealthy relationships can feel crippling. It may seem counter-intuitive to suggest individual counseling for relationship problems, but individual counseling can provide the one-one-one attention and support as you learn to more effectively respond to the challenges brought on by a difficult relationship. This type of therapy might be right for you if:
- You find yourself repeating a pattern of unhealthy relationships.
- You are caught in a difficult relationship, but the other person in the relationship is unwilling to join you in seeking counseling.
- You are willing to explore how YOU can change to make a relationship healthier. This type of therapy will not teach you how to change others.
Personal Growth
Many people believe that there has to be something "wrong with you" in order to see a therapist. This is simply not true! Often, people utilize counseling to help themselves grow to their fullest potential. A therapist can help you articulate goals, find resources and strategies to meet these goals, and assist you in staying on track. This type of therapy might be right for you if:
- You struggle to find motivation and direction in life.
- You have a dream for your life, but just don't know how to make it reality.
- You often get started strong on a goal, only to fizzle out and not complete it.
- You want someone to encourage you and provide helpful insights and tools along the way.
If you do not see your specific need addressed here, please don't hesitate to call and to discuss if I can help you. We look forward to hearing from you!
